This term has always fascinated me. When am I going to meet my “Soulmate?” and live happily ever after. Well, folks, it doesn’t work like that. After years of studying, exploring, and learning the meaning of Soulmates, I have learned there is so much more to it than simply a man and a woman relationship. A soulmate can be your parents, children, siblings, or life-long friends.

We are recycled souls ~ Soul Families, and we come back to each life to evolve, to fulfill Karmic debts from other lifetimes. Reincarnation is a significant part of this. My belief system is that long before we come down to this plane, we made a blueprint of what we want to accomplish Karmically and with who. I think I had to be drunk to agree to all this). Then God, or whoever your Higher Power is, sends us down, giving us Free Will, and says, “Ok, you’re on your own.” God does have a sense of humor.

But I think we all have had that inexplicable feeling of, I feel like, “I know you, or I feel like I’ve been here before.” Chances are, that is a soulmate. So even places we work or live are part of the Karmic process.

The Lesson. Yuk, that is the hardest part of it all. The karmic debt is generally a lesson we need to learn and a debt that needs to be fulfilled; these are rarely easy. They are not just spiritual lessons; they are all things that are due and owed between the people involved. Once the debt is satisfied, the Karma is complete.

Many of us have more than one marriage, which doesn’t mean that each one isn’t a soul mate. It just means that we have Karma to fulfill with that person, and we then move on. Same with Parents. Let’s say this: I feel like I’m a recipe. I took a little from mom and a lot from Dad, and they got Me. But I keep trying to evolve. No one person is perfect, but as long as we keep working at it, it does or should get easier., then we don’t have to do it again.

I hope you enjoyed this piece. This subject is my favorite part of what I do. I find it to be the core of us, our souls.

Many Blessings Joanne
